Panasonic Bread Maker SD-P104 - Automatically mixes, kneads, rises and bakes bread



A lot of people love to eat bread for breakfast, myself included. Now, imagine having your own healthy home-made bread baked fresh in the morning everyday, without having to visit the bakery shops? or being awaken to a fresh start in the day by the aroma of bread loaf baking in the kitchen?


Last weekend, I was attending a Panasonic cooking demo workshop. I enjoyed myself very much there, as I learnt various new recipes using Panasonic Bread Maker SD-P104, and I also got to know many other Singapore bloggers.

Let's focus back on the topic - What is Panasonic SD-P104 used for?

 It allows consumers to bake their own healthy breads using natural ingredients.

Let's find out a little more about this bread maker: 


5 Step Operation:-

1. Take out the bread pan and set the kneading blade.
2. Add high-gluten flour & other ingredients except dry yeast in the bread pan.
3. Put instant dry yeast, dried fruits & nuts in the dispensers.
4. Select menu and press START.
5. After beep sound, take out the bread.


The key features of the SD-P104 are a yeast and ingredient dispenser, automatic temperature sensors and preset functions — making the entire bread-making process fully automated.

She will teach us how to homemade a fragrant mixed wheat bread with the bread maker.


Ingredients:


Place above ingredients (except mixed nut and yeast) in the bread pan. 


After that, place the nuts & raisin and yeast into the nut dispenser respectively.



oh yea,  I also just learn a new thing that salt and yeast cannot put together into one dispenser.
Salt will murder the yeast and caused a flat loaf of bread!!



3. Select menu no.2 for "Rapid" mode, and select "Raisin"mode, next press start.

Baking time: 2 hours


4. The machine would do all the work and you don't have to worry how the kneaded the dough.


And finally, magic happened


5. Remove bread from pan, leave to cool before cutting




The texture of the bread slices was great! Soft, moist and fluffy! I can totally imagining having this bread in the morning with my hubby and MIL, "Everyday Fresh Bakery", isn't it good & healthy?

Let's try another recipes : Fresh Focaccia


Same thing, place all the ingredients into the bread pan except yeast in the yeast dispenser.

2. Select menu 10 and press start. Display shows 45 minutes.


3. Once ready, remove dough from the bread pan and knead it on a lightly floured surface until elastic and springs back when touched. 

4. Divide dough into 2 protion, shape dough into a flat circle and place it into baking paper.



5. Press the tomatoes, black olives and mozzarella cheese into the dough. 


6. Leave dough to rise at 40C for about 50 minutes or till it double in size.

7. Brush the surface with olive oil, sprinkle with black paper, rosemary and paprika. 


8. Bake in a preheated oven at 210C for about 16 minutes. 


TADA!! Fresh Focaccia is ready!! 


Biting it freshly out from the oven - it really surprises me as it tastes totally like pizza hut, 
Crispy,thin layered crust, soft texture on the inside.... 
Although it's hot, it just can't stop my gluttony !

8 Bread Cycle : Bread, Rapid, Soft, French, Whole Wheat, Pineapple bread, Rice bread and Rice Flour Bread.

3 Dough Cycle : Bread Dough, Pizza Dough and Dumpling skin.

2 Snack Cycle : Chocolate and Cake.
